New features, improvements, and updates helping brands build stronger visibility across search and AI.
A reliability cycle. Visibility analysis can now run itself every week on a schedule you set, publishing to LinkedIn and X tells you exactly what happened to every post, the AEO audit has been rebuilt to finish and explain itself, and there is a new Feedback button and product tour inside the app.
Pick a day and a time, and CogNerd runs your brand's visibility analysis every week without you starting it.
● Set the weekday, the time and your time zone from the new Weekly analysis section on the Brand Profile page, below Topics
● Schedules follow your local calendar, including daylight-saving changes, so a Monday 9am run stays a Monday 9am run all year
● If a run is missed, for example during maintenance, it is caught up once and not repeated for every slot it missed
● Each scheduled run is recorded, so you can see what ran and when
● Archived brands are never scanned on a schedule, and turning the schedule off cancels any run that has not started
● The brand owner sets the schedule. Team members with access can view it
Why it matters: Trends are only useful when the measurements are regular. A fixed weekly rhythm gives you comparable runs without anyone needing to remember to press the button.
Auto-publishing to LinkedIn and X has been rebuilt around a single record of every delivery.
● The calendar shows the real state of each post: queued, publishing, posted, or needs your attention, and never shows a queued post as published
● When a post goes out, the calendar links straight to the live post on LinkedIn or X
● If a platform turns a post away because of rate limits, CogNerd waits and tries again automatically, up to twice, before asking you to step in
● If the outcome is genuinely unknown, the calendar says so and asks you to check the platform, in place of retrying and risking a duplicate post
● When a post is refused, the reason is shown in plain words
● Each scheduled post is published exactly once, even if two actions arrive at the same time
Why it matters: A post that silently fails, or goes out twice, does more harm than one you publish by hand. You can now trust the calendar's status without opening LinkedIn or X to check.
● A new Feedback button in the dashboard lets you send us a report from the page you are on
● A screenshot of the page is attached for you, and you can black out any part of it before sending
● Private details in page addresses are removed from reports automatically
Why it matters: The fastest way to fix a problem is to see it. You can show us exactly what went wrong, and you decide what we see.
● A short product tour walks you through AI Visibility Intelligence, AI Optimization, SEO Performance and your Workspace
● Restart the tour any time from the dashboard
● Onboarding and plan selection have been polished along the way, with clearer steps and navigation
Why it matters: New users see where everything lives in their first few minutes, not after a week of clicking around.
● AI Insights now opens on the AI Visibility Index itself, with the full breakdown one click away behind the eye icon
● The breakdown still shows every component, its weight and what it was measured over, as introduced in 3.11
Why it matters: The headline number comes first. The detail is still there when you want to check how the number was built.
● Hero images from your assistant: your assistant can now create an article's hero image, with a limit of five images per person each day and a clear message when you reach it
● Every tool is labelled: each CogNerd tool is marked as read, write or publish, so you can see which actions only look things up and which make changes or post content
● Prompts that know your allowances: guided workflows check your plan allowances before they start, so a flow does not stop halfway through
● Tool names are clearer, and website checks (brand preview and AEO audit) are labelled as reaching out to the open web
Why it matters: You can tell at a glance what a tool will do before your assistant runs it, which makes it easier to decide what to approve.
A focused pass on the AEO audit and the jobs behind it:
● One audit at a time per brand. Starting an audit twice no longer runs two audits or uses your allowance twice
● Audits start sooner. The onboarding audit begins as soon as the first part of your site has been read, in place of waiting for the whole crawl and for competitors
● Audits finish even when the crawl struggles. If our crawl service cannot read a site, the audit reads it directly, and it records that it did so
● A real speed check on every audit. Each AEO audit now includes a Lighthouse speed test of your homepage, so Core Web Vitals are filled in, and the page says these are lab numbers and not real-user data
● Errors that explain themselves. A failed audit shows the real reason, and a website address we cannot audit now tells you what is wrong and what to change
● Stuck audits are cleaned up. An audit that stops responding is marked failed and its allowance is returned
● SEO audits survive restarts. SEO audits now run from a durable queue that retries on its own and picks up after maintenance, in place of being lost
● Hero images without stray text. Generated hero images no longer paint the article's headline into the picture
● Social posts complete reliably. LinkedIn and X posts from Content Studio no longer come back cut short
Behind the scenes:
● A durable job system for long-running work such as SEO audits and scheduled analysis, built so that work in progress survives a restart
● Release checks now run before every deployment and stop a release before the server changes if anything required is missing
● Dependency updates across the app to close known security issues
● cognerd.ai: the approved site design is now live, with refreshed Home, Features, Services, Pricing and About pages, a review carousel, the real product dashboard on the homepage and new CogNerd comparison pages
● cognerd.ai: structured data now loads with the first page view so search engines and AI assistants read it straight away
● Our content management tools gained editing, validation and confirmation improvements, so website content can be updated faster and with fewer mistakes
● Password reset: expired, used or incomplete reset links now open a clear screen that offers a new link, in place of loading forever. Your new password is checked before the link is used, and a successful reset signs you out on every device
● The "forgot password" confirmation no longer reveals whether an account exists
● Signing up with an email that already has an account is stopped before a verification code is sent
● Sign-in is better protected against repeated attempts
● Onboarding and audience fields now show character limits, and a failed brand setup names the field that needs fixing
● Competitor and product image links are checked before saving
● Content calendar: "+N more" opens that day's full list of events, the composer will not save an empty post, the search box handles extra spaces and capitals, and date and time pickers open from anywhere in the field
● Choosing a date range or platform in the dashboard filter now closes the filter bar
● The add-competitor form has a Cancel button
● An AI Readiness Audit error is shown once, and repeated retries no longer stack copies of the same message
● New variant in AGXP now opens the variant form, or explains what needs to be set up first
● Connecting an integration now clears out old, stale connections to the same account first
● Prompts in staging can be saved again, and "not found" messages are no longer repeated
● Buttons show a busy state while an action is in progress

A foundations cycle. Usage moves to clear plan allowances, every visibility number now comes from one measurement engine that shows its working, scans pick up where they left off after an interruption, and your AI assistant gets new ways to work with your brands.
Usage no longer needs a calculator. Your plan now includes set allowances, and the app shows exactly where you stand.
● Every plan includes an allowance of brands, end-to-end visibility runs each month, and content briefs each month for each channel (blog, LinkedIn and X)
● Audits, GEO assets, carousels and AI generation each have their own daily limit
● The top bar shows what is left of your allowances, and Settings → Billing lists them in full
● A brief includes its first draft plus up to three regenerations, so you can refine an article without starting over
● Monthly allowances reset on the 1st and daily limits reset at midnight UTC
● When you reach a limit, a banner names the allowance, says when it resets and offers an upgrade, in place of a generic error
Why it matters: A brand, a run and a brief are things you can plan a month around. You can see what is available before you start, not partway through a task.
● Archive a brand to take it off your active list and free its place under your plan's brand limit
● Archived brands are kept safely and can be listed and restored at any time
● Archived brands are not scanned, watched or rescanned, from the dashboard or from your AI assistant
Why it matters: Your brand list reflects the work in front of you, not every brand you have ever added.
Brand visibility figures now come from a single measurement engine, built to follow the IAB's *Measuring Visibility in the AI Era* framework.
● One engine serves every page, so the same figure no longer differs between two parts of the dashboard
● The AI Visibility Index lists what it is made of: each component, how many responses it was measured over, its configured weight and the weight that actually applied
● A component that could not be measured is marked Not measured and no longer counts as a silent zero
● Share of voice counts each tracked brand at most once per answer, across the competitors you track, and the page says so
● Confidence ranges appear only where the data supports them. When a run falls short of the sampling minimums, the report says Sampling not verified
● Trends are paused when two runs are not comparable (a different model, retrieval settings, prompt mix, market, competitor set or coverage), and the report says why
● Each run records the evidence and the measurement version it was scored with, and older reports stay as they were recorded
Why it matters: A visibility score is only useful if you know what it measured and whether it can be compared with last month's. Where the data cannot support a claim, the dashboard now says so.
● Brands and brand context as resources: your assistant can load your brands, and a brand's full working context, directly into the conversation
● Workflow starters: two guided flows you can launch with "/". *Weak prompt to article* takes a prompt where your brand is invisible and turns it into a finished article; *Onboard brand from URL* sets up a new brand from its website
● Usage in conversation: a new usage tool shows your plan allowances, and account details now report usage
● Brief-based drafting: creating a content brief returns a brief ID that the drafting tools reuse, so retrying a draft works against the same brief
● Clear, specific messages when an allowance is reached
Why it matters: Your assistant starts with the right context and follows the same steps the dashboard does, so less of the conversation goes on setup.
● New homepage, Features, About and Services pages, with refreshed AIO Space, whitepapers, FAQ, case studies and release notes
● Updated navigation, shared FAQs and a consistent ending on every page
A focused pass on making AI visibility scans dependable from start to finish:
● Scans resume after interruptions. If a scan is interrupted, for example by a server restart, it continues in the same run and skips the prompts it had already finished. Before, it timed out
● Empty answers are caught. A blank response from an AI platform is rejected before scoring, so it no longer reads as your brand being absent
● Finished reports are kept. A completed report survives even if a later step fails
● Cancel means cancel. Stopping a scan now takes effect even while results are being scored
● Sharper brand detection. Detection of your own domains, and of brand names that are also everyday words, is stricter, so new runs can read differently from older ones for that reason alone
Behind the scenes:
● A versioned measurement pipeline that stores the evidence behind each run, so results can be checked and reproduced
● Durable scan recovery, with scan progress saved in the database as the scan runs
● Usage tracking rebuilt around allowances, with reserve-and-settle bookkeeping, so an action that delivers nothing does not use up your allowance
● Website content is now published through a content management system. Updates go live without a redeploy, and the sitemap is built from live content
● Automated release checks on every change, and services that come back up automatically after server maintenance
● Sign-in errors from Google and other providers, such as an account that is not linked, are now shown and no longer fail silently
● An email address must now be verified before sign-in, and the verification page sends your code automatically
● When a site's firewall blocks the SEO Audit or rate-limits it, the audit explains what happened and suggests what to try, in place of a raw error
● When the monthly run allowance is used up, Watch skips the window and sends a single alert and no longer retries
● A calendar event can only be linked to a brief from the same brand
● Backlink page previews load more securely
● Daily limits on AI generation and carousels hold firm under heavy concurrent use
Questions or feedback? We'd love to hear from you at support@cognerd.ai.
A busy fortnight. Your LinkedIn performance now has a page of its own, carousels can be rendered on your own branded backgrounds, every article arrives with a hero image, and a scheduled post can now publish itself.
Upload your LinkedIn export and get the read on it that LinkedIn does not give you.
● Drop in the export LinkedIn already gives you - personal profile or Company Page, `.xlsx` or `.xls`. No API connection to authorise, because LinkedIn does not offer personal-profile analytics through one
● Up to six headline measures: impressions, engagements, engagement rate, new followers week on week, and clicks with CTR when Company Page data is present
● A highlights row that reads the data for you - your median engagement rate, your most engaging post, your best day to post (only claimed when at least two posts back it up), and your current posting cadence
● Weekly engagement mix (reactions, comments, reposts), a CTR trend, posts per week, and average impressions by weekday
● AI findings comparing your latest week against a four-week baseline, so a dip or a spike comes with a reading rather than just a shape on a chart
● Follower demographics, and a history of every export you have uploaded - the newest export always wins where two overlap
Why it matters: LinkedIn hands you a spreadsheet and leaves you to it. This turns that spreadsheet into the same kind of page as the rest of CogNerd, and the charts that would be meaningless for a personal profile are hidden rather than drawn as rows of zeros.
The deck can now look like it came from you, not from a template gallery.
● Upload your own blank branded backgrounds, light and dark, and generate carousels straight onto them. They appear under "Your templates" in the picker
● A Customize panel for logo, fonts, colours and sizes: upload a logo and place it on a six-position grid at small, medium or large, with separate switches for the cover and the inner slides
● Eight font packs with independent title and body sizing
● Every deck keeps a copy of the background it was made with, so removing a template from your library never breaks a deck you already made
Why it matters: The controls are knobs on the same renderer that produces the export, not a separate canvas editor - so what you see in the live preview is exactly what comes out of the PNG and the PDF. There is no drift between preview and download.
Articles now arrive with an image at the top, whichever way you generate them.
● A 16:9 hero image generated with the article, on by default and free - it is already covered by the article's credits
● Do not like it? Reroll it. It appears above the preview and travels with the exported markdown
● Previously only the guided wizard produced one. The direct pipeline now does too, so an article generated either way looks finished
Why it matters: An article without an image is not really ready to publish. Closing the gap between the two pipelines means you no longer have to remember which route produced a hero and which left you to find one.
Scheduling used to be a plan. It can now be an instruction.
● A new "Auto-publish at the scheduled time" switch on LinkedIn and X calendar events
● Opt in per event - everything else stays exactly as it was, scheduled but waiting for you
● When the time passes, CogNerd publishes it through the same path the manual Publish button uses, and the event shows whether it published, is publishing, or needs your attention
Why it matters: A calendar that only remembers dates still needs someone at a keyboard at 9am. This closes that gap for the two channels we publish to directly, without changing anything for people who would rather press the button themselves.
● LinkedIn exports in the older `.xls` format are accepted alongside `.xlsx`, and real Company Page exports containing repeated post URLs no longer fail the upload
● The LinkedIn Analytics page falls back to your default brand when it opens without one selected
● A carousel still renders when the image store rejects an upload, by falling back to local storage rather than failing the deck
● Repurposed social posts always come back with hashtags
● A failed Microsoft Clarity refresh no longer leaves behind a placeholder that reads as fresh data
● Feature access fails closed: if plan data cannot be read, features stay locked rather than opening up
● No plan name is written into the app any more; every page reads the live catalogue, so packaging changes take effect without a code change
Questions or feedback? We'd love to hear from you at support@cognerd.ai.
Two new sources of truth arrive on the dashboard - what your paid search is spending and what your visitors actually do once they land - and a new studio turns a topic into a finished LinkedIn or Instagram carousel.
Paid search now sits alongside your organic and AI visibility, in the same place.
● Connect Google Ads from Integrations and pick which account a brand reads, the same flow you already use for Search Console and Google Calendar
● A Paid Media page with cost, clicks, impressions, conversions, CTR, average CPC and conversion rate, each shown against the previous period
● A daily spend trend, plus your top campaigns, ad groups and keywords
● Pause a campaign, re-enable it, or change its budget without leaving CogNerd. Every change goes through a confirmation dialog showing the before and after that Google's own validator accepted, and a budget change asks you to type the new amount back before it runs
Why it matters: Ad spend was the one number you had to leave CogNerd to see. Now the paid and organic sides of the same brand can be read together, and the small day-to-day changes can be made in place, with a confirmation step that makes an accidental budget edit hard to do.
Rolling out: campaign creation (a guided wizard with AI-filled ad copy, sitelinks, callouts and images), search-terms triage, an RSA editor, conversion tracking and Google's own recommendations are built and staged behind a rollout flag. They will appear on the page as they are switched on for your account.
A new Session Behavior page shows how people move through your site, from your own connected Microsoft Clarity project.
● Connect with a Clarity Data Export token - no OAuth approval to chase
● Nine measures against the previous period: sessions, distinct users, pages per session, engagement time, scroll depth, dead clicks, rage clicks, quickbacks and JavaScript errors
● A 30-day sessions trend built from one snapshot a day, plus a device split and breakdowns by top page, country and traffic source
● Refresh on demand inside Clarity's daily export budget. The page says how old the data is, tells you when it is serving a cached copy, and explains plainly when the day's exports are used up instead of showing a generic error
Why it matters: Visibility work tells you who gets sent to your site. Clarity tells you what happens next - the clicks that hit nothing (dead clicks), the frustrated repeat clicking (rage clicks), and the visitors who bounce straight back to the results page (quickbacks).
Turn a topic into a finished, on-brand carousel.
● Give it a topic, a tone and a slide count. CogNerd writes the slide copy, generates a cover image, and imposes the text onto brand-coloured templates
● Ten templates, each with its own font and colour pairing, with a live preview and in-place restyling - switch template without regenerating the words
● Exports as portrait (1080x1350) and square (1080x1080) PNGs plus a LinkedIn-ready PDF deck
● Topic suggestions drawn from your brand, and a history of every deck you have made
● Generation runs in the background with stage-by-stage progress, so the page stays usable while it works
Why it matters: The AI writes the words, never the pixels. Layout, fonts and brand colours come from templates we control, so every deck comes out consistent rather than whatever an image model felt like producing. Editing the text and re-rendering costs nothing.
● Visibility scans now accept up to 40 prompts, matching what the pipeline could already run
● The Ads spend trend fills in days with no spend and keeps one metric per axis, so the shape of the line reflects the real month
● The app no longer gets pinned to a stale build by its service worker after a release
● Clarity's daily export limit is now its own clearly explained state rather than a generic "couldn't load" error
● Weekly database backups, verified on write and copied off-site
Questions or feedback? We'd love to hear from you at support@cognerd.ai.
Our widest cycle yet: CogNerd becomes something you can talk to from your AI assistant, Search Console analysis arrives in plain language, GEO Assets is rebuilt end to end, and a long sweep of work makes every number on the dashboard honest about what it actually measured.
CogNerd now runs as a connected tool inside AI assistants, so the whole visibility-to-content loop happens in conversation.
● Connect by signing in on the dashboard the way you normally do and approving on a consent screen - nothing to copy, paste or have an admin mint for you
● Ask your assistant to find the prompts where you're invisible, build a content brief, research and draft an article, generate GEO assets, run an AEO audit, draft and publish social posts, check the calendar or check your credit balance
● Fact curation: research pauses and shows you the facts it found, so you approve them before the paid draft ever runs- abandoning a research run costs nothing
● Editable outlines: research hands back the full article skeleton (headings and FAQ) and the paid draft writes to exactly the structure you approved, instead of regenerating its own
● Brand memory: CogNerd remembers decisions, preferences and insights across conversations, and can reconstruct what actually happened to a brand from real records
Why it matters: The work you'd otherwise do across several dashboard pages becomes a conversation - and the paid steps only run after you've seen and approved what they'll produce.
New Search Console analysis, available to ask for in plain language.
● Biggest movers, branded vs non-branded split, the questions people search, technical hygiene issues, and content opportunities - all derived from your own Search Console data
● Ranking queries and a per-page report, with optional page-speed measurement
● Index status, backed by your sitemap counts and an honest "likely not indexed" signal rather than a confident guess
● The sidebar is now four capability groups - AI Visibility Intelligence, AI Optimization, SEO Performance and Workspace - each collapsible, with your choices remembered
● GEO Assets and SEO Audit get their own pages, and Page Audit narrows to AEO
● A Documentation link in the account panel
● Redesigned page with a KPI summary, live generation progress, asset cards, and a preview drawer with copy, download and syntax highlighting for JSON-LD, XML, robots.txt and llms.txt
● Whole-site page discovery: every page found during your brand scan is now listed, and you tick up to 10 for on-demand Schema.org generation - previously you could only pick from the handful a run happened to profile
● The report card now explains what happened to your robots.txt - crawlers allowed, rules you already had that were preserved, repairs made, and a clear banner if your site blocks everything
● A proper composer with bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, lists, an emoji palette and hashtag support, plus a live feed preview with the see-more fold
● Available in both the Social panel and the Content Calendar, with edits saved as you type
● Choose whether a post goes out as you or as a company page you administer
● Hardened brand analysis and workflow handling against partial failures
● More reliable site scraping, with clearer reporting when a fetch doesn't succeed
● Content wizard prompts are now date-anchored, so generated articles stop referring to the wrong year
● Fixed logging failures on Windows when content contained non-ASCII characters
Questions or feedback? We'd love to hear from you at support@cognerd.ai.
This cycle turns the Content Calendar into a true publishing hub — with direct LinkedIn/X posting and one-way Google Calendar sync — alongside a Google Search Console dashboard accuracy overhaul, smarter blog targeting in the Guided Content Studio, brand-level Team Members with role-based access, and a broad pass of dashboard polish and security hardening.
Brands can now be shared with a team instead of a single owner.
● Invite teammates by email with Viewer, Editor, or Admin access per brand
● Invitees accept via a secure, time-limited link tied to their email
● Editors and Admins can take paid actions on a shared brand, billed to the brand owner's credits
● A new Team page for managing members and pending invitations
Why it matters: Brands are rarely run by one person — this lets teams collaborate on a shared brand without sharing logins or losing visibility into who did what.
The Content Calendar is now the single place to plan, write, and publish content — the separate Studio view is gone.
● Publish blog posts to all connected destinations, or social posts straight to LinkedIn or X, from an event's detail view
● A "Published" badge shows what's already gone out, so you never double-post
● Posts are checked against each platform's limits before publishing (e.g. X's character limit) with a clear error instead of a cryptic failure
Why it matters: Going from a planned post to a published one no longer means leaving the calendar or juggling separate tools.
Content Calendar events can now mirror into your own Google Calendar.
● Connect Google Calendar from Integrations and pick which calendar to sync into
● Upcoming events backfill automatically on connect, with a confirmation of how many were synced
● An "In Google Calendar" chip shows on events that are mirrored
Why it matters: Your content schedule shows up wherever your team already looks for their calendar, with no manual copying.
The Guided Content Studio now gives you more control over what a generated article targets, and produces cleaner output.
● Add a primary keyword and up to 5 secondary keywords — they shape the outline, the title/intro, and are checked in the built-in quality audit
● A new content-opportunities panel in the Calendar surfaces prompts where your brand is losing ground to competitors, as one-click blog briefs
● Blog-to-blog internal linking is now prioritized over generic site pages, so articles link to your other content more often
● Fixed a false-positive audit warning that flagged your brand's own internal links as unverified
Why it matters: Articles are easier to steer toward the keywords and topics that matter, and less likely to need manual cleanup afterward.
The Search Console dashboard has been rebuilt for accuracy and now matches what you'd see in Google's own console.
● New 24-hour hourly view, plus custom date ranges and period-over-period comparison
● Metric tiles now use Google's own definitions and labels (Total clicks, Total impressions, Average CTR, Average position), with tooltips explaining each
● Fixed several data bugs where totals, trends, and comparisons diverged from Google Search Console — including a bug that showed a single top query's stats instead of the site-wide total
Why it matters: The numbers you see now line up with Google Search Console, so you can trust them without cross-checking elsewhere.
A round of fixes across the dashboard to remove dead ends and prototype leftovers:
● Citations page: filters now drive the whole page (not just the item list), and the citations graph got proper axes, dates, and tooltips
● Trends: all tracked competitors now display, not just the first four
● Prompt Library: "Add your own prompt" is now a clearly labeled action instead of a bare input at the bottom of the page
● Insights: the "Run Analysis" button now actually starts an analysis
● Page Audit: fixed the page scrolling far past its content
● Sidebar: fixed icons drifting out of alignment when collapsing/expanding quickly
● AI Context: admin accounts can now open it instead of being redirected to Home
● Top Cited Sources: the refresh button now shows visible loading feedback
● UGC gallery: sample clips are now clearly labeled "Sample" instead of reading as real activity
● Removed a mascot image carrying a third-party watermark from empty states
● Fixed a security issue where a malicious link returned by a connected integration could run code when clicked — links are now restricted to safe web addresses only
● Fixed an authorization bug where admin accounts without a brand explicitly selected could be routed into another brand's data instead of being blocked
● Fixed connecting an integration failing to open its sign-in window in some browsers
● Removed the "All systems operational" indicator from the site footer
Questions or feedback? We'd love to hear from you at support@cognerd.ai.

This release focuses on usability improvements, smarter competitor management, and new personalisation options for the CogNerd platform. Key additions include the Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) feature for OpenRouter, improved competitor deduplication, manual competitor management, and the launch of official platform documentation. The update also includes important bug fixes for logo rendering and various landing page improvements.
Users can now connect their own OpenRouter API key to the CogNerd platform, giving them full control over their AI usage and billing.
Key capabilities:
● Add and manage your personal OpenRouter API key from account settings
● Route AI requests through your own key for custom rate limits and model access
